This picture I have taken during the weekend. This is from SM Davao. Right at the entrance is a block with the traditional Chinese Fortune descriptions of different birth years. I went there and read some and then for a few minutes just sat nearby. I observed a lot of people started to look for their birth years and read their fortune or whatever they call it. Some comments I overheard. Some would say, "Great I will have a good year ahead" or "I need to be careful this isn't a good year for me".
I don't believe in fortune telling. I believe that our lives rely so much on our decisions. When we decide on things, for ourselves and for others, things move, change, are altered for the better or for the worse. Life itself is a choice we make. We can choose to make it gloomy or relaxed or happy. It is our choices that mold us as well. What we decide to be is what we are.
By saying this I also believe that there is so much room for each of us to change, for hope, for love, for peace and so on. Choose what is good . Choose what is right and all will be alright.
